A stunning rendered garden room with traditional stone slate roof. This extension replaced an existing conservatory that was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. A planning application was not required as it fell under permitted development rights so only a building regulation application was required.

The large window at the front has been designed to take in the stunning panoramic views of the Holme Valley and also to allow more light in to the lounge area. The clients breif was to have a room with plenty of light and also allow for taking in the views up to holme moss. We managed this and also as you can see we made the design to be in-keeping with the original house. The use of steelwork provides the support required for the windloading on the large area of glazing.

Also with this being the only access area to the front door of the house it was imperative to keep the area clean and tidy so as not to intrude too much on the clients normal daily activities.
